Then fall season in just around the corner. The temps are much better and the course is looking great! The Club Championship will be played September 17th and 18th. We hope all members plan on participating.
October 8th and 9th Oakwood Golf Club will be host to the 8th annual Houston Area Chamber of Commerce Tournament. This will be an 18 hole 3-person scramble. Sessions are Saturday morning and afternoon plus a single session on Sunday afternoon. You may play all three sessions by switching out a partner. We hope to fill the field so get you team together and give the clubhouse a call.
Saturday, September 24th there will be another day-night 18 hole tournament. TCMH’s Chili cookoff team “Afterburners” is sponsoring the tournament. Start time is 4:00 pm. A meal will served between nines. Cost per person will be $40. Entry fee includes mulligans. Profits from the tournament benefit “Hospice of Care”. Field is limited to the first 16 team.
